This extension provides operators to work on image data. Capabilities provided include: extracting text from images, performing transformations and loading as ExampleSets or Tensor objects e.g. required for Deep Learning.

For the text extraction mechanism the popular OCR library Tesseract is used. Currently including support for English only.

For image transformations the DeepLearning4J DataVec library is used.

The ND4J Back End Extension is needed for this Extension to work.
