jq is a language to transform JSON. Using processing pipes, arbitrary parts of the input document can be selected, reformatted and processed. 

The jq expressions can be developed interactively at jqplay.org and then copied to RapidMiner.

This extension contains operators for processing a JSON attribute in an example set and for processing documents that typically come from web APIs.
